MONDAY
- English Conversation Class, 10 AM, SOBO Lounge. Topic: American Elections/Politics. Email Barbara for details: bcamp_gig@yahoo.com

- Spanish Language Class, 8:30 PM, Mary Austin's House, This is a class for those with little or no experience with Spanish--come and join us! For directions email the teachers: Claudia (closalas@gmail.com) or Dinora (dinorasolares@yahoo.com).

TUESDAY
-Halloween Costume Party! Pizza & Drinks Provided! Games, Pinata, Costume Contests! Please bring your most scary dessert to share! 6 PM, SOBO Lounge (For ideas on treats see: http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/special/specialfeature/halloween_ms_food/)
**Remember that all IWFC Members are invited to these Potluck Dinners: spouses and children included!!**

THURSDAY
-Global Forum Speaker: Marilyn Carlson Nelson, Chairman Carlson Cmopanies, 1:10 PM, For information contact Barbara Stevenson: barbara.stevenson@thunderbird.edu
-Thunderkids Trick or Treating on Campus! Meet at SOBO Lounge, dressed and ready to go at 3 PM!
-Cooking Club, 10:30 am. Cost: $3-$5. Yasuko will be this weeks host. She will make Japanese foods: "Niku-jaga" (meat and potato) and "tofu burger". RSVP to Yasuko (Yasukob@gmail.com)(602-423-5925) by 12pm, Wednesday. Address: 5819 W Evans Dr. (one street behind Acoma Rd) Directions from T-bird: South on 59th; Left on Acoma Rd, Right at 58th (go into Northern Manor town houses) and turn right (Evans Dr). You can come in through the backyard. You can also park on Acoma Rd and walk or guest parking.

AND just so you'll start thinking about it--if you are interested in being part of the committee please email Wendy (thewebsterfamily@gmail.com)...We always like new people but we will also need to train someone to be the next president...start thinking about it ...we will have our next committee meeting in December :) Being on the committee is a great way to get to know other women--so if you are wondering how to make immediate friends--join the committee!!!
