Discussions on Experience as a Spouse of an Expat

A Thunderbird Alum Needs Your Help!

During the Business Plan course at Thunderbird, Suz Graf created a plan for developing a community center for spouses of expatriates. The general idea was to provide career coaching, life coaching, language courses, "how to live in this city" type of courses, multi-cultural dance, and a general place to bond with others in a similar situation, but she would like to confirm those ideas and add more.

Suz will be in Glendale October 19-21 before starting Career Fair activities and hopes to meet with some spouses to help her investigate this idea. She is hoping to speak with women who are currently or were previously living outside their home country as part of their spouse being on an expatriate assignment or educational program. Ideally, she would like to hold a group session or two to discuss challenges experienced and services to which you wish you had access. It will be a very informal session and snacks/beverages will be provided as a thank you.
