Friday: Snow GLOBE, 6 PM-8PM, 5719 W Zoe Ella Way, Glendale, AZ 85306 (Contact: E-mail: carrick@global.thunderbird.edu) A classy evening featuring light appetizers and spirits. Everyone is asked to bring a toy to place under the tree. Toys should be new and unwrapped (no gift paper) with an approximate value of $8-12. Toys can be for any age range from infant to teenager. The event is being organized by GLOBE. GLOBE has selected a great charity to work with, called Andrea's Closet, an organization that provides toys to children undergoing hospital medical procedures. What's great about this organization, is they actually spread love and cheer year round, though they work extra hard at Christmas to make sure all kids in hospitals receive toys that wouldn't otherwise receive any. Instead of going with a large program such as Toys for Tots, GLOBE chose this program especially because it is very hands on, ensuring an actual child in need is the one receiving the toy.
